Thornton Chevrolet is looking for an experienced, hardworking Automotive Service Technician who takes pride in being productive and delivering quality repairs.
An important part of this position is performing internal transmission repairs. We are looking for a well-rounded technician who is willing to take on this responsibility. Previous internal transmission repair experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A willingness to learn and perform this work is required.

What We're Looking For
- Willingness to learn and perform internal transmission diagnosis and repairs as a required part of the position.
- Experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
- Motivated, dependable, and able to maintain a productive workflow.
- Ability to perform engine, drivetrain, electrical, and general mechanical repairs.
- GM experience and ASE certifications preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive flat-rate pay with production bonuses.
- Healthcare benefits and paid time off available after 90 days.
- 401(k) retirement plan — eligibility requirements apply.
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with one Saturday per month, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.
